HOME SWEET HOME

Wow! Ok.  So Ive officially moved. We are renting a house in Whitemouth.  Yes I know it's super far away... takes me like an hour to get to work now!  Plus we are still driving the kids to school in Beausejour just till things get settled in Whitemouth.   It's definitely a trek. 

I love the new place though, slowly but surely we're getting everything together. Got some new appliances and most of the dishes and boxes unpacked.... slowly its starting to look more like a home instead of just a house :)


I was totally late today!! UGH! I miss when I drove myself to work....but Trev can't sit still so he's gotta make it a whole family affair its rediculous actually. I slept in cause I was tired - Trev knows what time I have to leave to make it to work on time....so he was up since like 5am cause he couldn't sleep he had plenty of time to fit showering in between 5am and 11am....but no what does he do waits till i have my shower and finish bathroom stuff (makeup and hair...) at 11 and THEN he decides he's going to have a shower...then we get like 5 miles out of whitemouth and remember that we forgot the movies that we had rented and had to return in beausejour...SO we had to turn around....so when we got to beausejour i tried using the payphone to call my boss so she could open the doors at least but the stupid payphone wouldn't work...wouldn't accept my quarters then wouldn't dial the number just kept saying please hang up and try your call again....so i gave up after about 5 mins of trying and ended up 10 mins late!!!! SOOO FRUSTRATING! Hope I don't get in too much trouble.


I decided to try to quit smoking...Trev has agreed to not smoke in the car or in the house (sometimes he will in the bathroom once the kids are asleep) and he has to shower more lol and brush his teeth more so that I don't smell it so much.....so we'll see how long that lasts.....probably won't...I miss the social part of it already lol and ive only quit for like 5 hours :( LOL!!!!

What a day....   I feel pretty lazy today.  Can't seem to get my act together.  I hate being stressed out! Seriously it's like running a marathon with no finish line.  Although as stressed as I am I'm still happy :) which is definitely an amazing feeling.  I owe almost all of my happiness to my bf though.  He's just so understanding.  Hard to believe we've been going out for just over 5 months....in one sense it feels just like yesterday but in another it feels as if we've been together for years. 

I'm working an 8 hour shift today...haven't done one of these in awhile.  The day seems to be dragging on and on and on....ah well what's a girl to do.

I wish all the game sites online weren't blocked....I am addicted to this game I found on facebook called Jungle Jewels. It's much the same as Bejeweled.  But,  I am like hardcore addicted to it.  I can't pass level 3 for some stupid reason and I keep playing for like hours and hours but I don't think I'm getting any better. :(

Sometimes I wish I still lived at home.  Like my parents home... Not very often but every once in a while I miss the life I had there.  Now it's so different and there is always something going on, I just wish I had a night to sit and watch a movie or sit in the kitchen with only the stove light on and have a cup of tea.  Just little things.  OH and I miss my bed.  Very much so.  I could never use it now cause there are 2 of us that have to sleep together lol - Try fitting us both on a twin mattress ahaha not gonna happen.  The queen size bed is much more comfy for 2.  But, I do miss my bed.  I miss the blanket and how comfy it was :( LOL I sound like a little baby lol.

Just as an update...we are still living at Trev's cousins place till we find another place.  Trailer is out because we phoned back to find out when we could move in (after the floor was fixed) and she told us the water pump has gone now.............I think she's just giving us the run around, but whatever.  It is what it is.  Time to find a new place.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

HEY!

I'm so happy the people at Dufresne have happily allowed me to carry on my festive quirk of playing Christmas carols on November 1st! :D

I love Christmas carols!! And the one that is on right now is one of my Top 4 favorites (Where Are You Christmas).

Carrying on with the theme of Christmas, I can't wait to start watching the Christmas movies and decorating...Although, I'm not too sure where we'll be at that time this year.... maybe I won't get to decorate much :( 

Anyway, different topic, work.  Some people are so frustrating *insert a "grrr" face here* But for the most part it's great!

Aunty Tammy took the kids out Trick-or-Treating last night.... Mmm Candy! LOL!
Seems they had fun :D

Not much more to tell right now.  I'm rather tired..... wish we had "nap time" at work.  You know, just like we did way back in kindergarten!!!! That would be awesome!!!!!!!

Well, its now 11:38pm, Friday Oct. 30th and we are officially homeless....

We were supposed to be moving into a trailer but I guess that's not working out now.  The person we were renting from said the floor caved in while they were putting new flooring in... We can't move in till late next week sometime at the earliest...

Right now we're staying at Norman's place...Not sure how much I actually like this....Actually what I hate about it the most is how irresponsible some people are.  I can't wait to have our own place again so that when it's bedtime we can go to bed and not be kept awake by others that insist on partying 24 hours a day... 

I feel bad for those kids.  I really do. I wish I/WE could do better for them... we just have to wait it out I suppose. Things happen for a reason I guess and maybe this is all happening to make us really appreciate what we had and the bridges we've burnt? Maybe.  All I know is that as much as this could be a lesson....it really sucks because it's not fair that the kids have to be dragged through our learning process...if that's what this is. 

Tomorrow Trev and I are invited to go out for wings with a couple friends of mine... Hopefully we can do that.  I really just want to get away for a little while and be with my bf and relax and have fun.  I wonder if he understands how important it is to me... HMMM

BAH! I wish they would turn the music down...

Wow, I just realized, its 11:46pm and its Friday, and Im the youngest one here aside from the minors and Im the crankiest and I want to go to bed!!! What the heck is wrong with me... All the *old timers* are sitting up and drinking - although Trev isnt drinking hes just being nice cause hes really tired - I cant be so nice lol Im being sorta anti-social but thats cause Im really tired and I am not in the mood to drink. 

Its really nice of Norman to let us stay here though. And I do appreciate it.  I just cant wait till we get our own place.  So that the kids can go to bed when they are supposed to and get a good nights sleep and not have to be around the partying so much.

Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone an update on what is going on right now...

Ah, Thursday, One more day till I have some money and feel like I'm rich for about a total of 2 mins ...

Well, moving day is upon us, well kinda.  Have to wait for a call back about when we can start hauling our stuff in.... its got to be soon....cause we have to be out by Nov. 1st. 

Nothing else is really new... I think I need to go have a nap lol

So much time...nothing to do....

Well, here I am, back at work.  Honestly I love this job, just hate when there are no customers.  But I wouldn't trade it for something not office related even if the pay was better.  I love Office jobs!!!

I got here at 5pm today - it took me two hours to clean up the desk and get things sorted out...now I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs lol.

OH! I forgot to mention in yesterday's post...lol Funny Story - well maybe not funny, but I was slightly amused.
          Ok, so I was driving Trev over to Norm's so he could do some work in the garage while I was at work, and (because it's such a short drive and because I wasn't really even thinking about it) I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and all was well until we pulled up to the stop sign at the corner of Norm's road and who was there but a cop...yep...and he definitely saw that I wasn't wearing my seatbelt....and he waited for me to turn...and as I turned I saw him throw his signal light on, and his brakes flashed and I was sure I was totally caught...BUT! I pulled into Norm's driveway like ASAP (cause its like almost right on the corner - PHEW) and we all ran into the garage....Cop never came and got me so thank goodness....THEN, I realized "Oh, CRAP" not only did I not have my seatbelt on but I never signalled that turn.............So then Meg and I leave to go to work and as we were leaving town who did we see? The cop that we had met at the corner....only he had some other unfortunate soul pulled over HAHAHAHAHA SUCKER! All I can say is Thank goodness for Norm's driveway being so close and Man, was I lucky...

Now that I've shared my little story, there is a lesson in all this....I know there is....I just can't seem to think of it...all I keep thinking is...... HAHAHA SUCKER! lol

Mmm, I made a lasagna for supper tonight.  Kids can be so funny sometimes. For instance, Tanner (our youngest) takes one look at the lasagna in the pan and says "Do I HAVE to eat THAT?!" Slightly insulted, I said "Yes, you have to try it at least..." He tried it and not too long after he started eating I heard, "This is really good!" Oh, the joys of having kids... :D

Halloween is coming up...not too sure yet how that's going to pan out.  What with us moving and what-not...but I believe that the kids are going to go with my sister and her boyfriend and her boyfriends little brother.....could be fun....

Just another lazy Sunday at work.....

Sigh, today has been rather boring....I brought Megs with me today just for something to do.  We've been trying out the furniture and rearranging the furniture in the store.  Decorating is fun!

The day is going by so slow - but yet at the same time....it's hard to believe it is after 2 o'clock already.  Figured I'd take a break and do some writing...

I have officially decided that the music they have playing on the loudspeaker sucks.  Yep, it's all older stuff like Sinatra and stuff..... Seriously who wants to buy furniture when you're listening to Sinatra??

There are some really neat accessories that have come in recently....Wish I was rich HAHA.  Even with my discount the stuff in this store is expensive - well the accessories are.  Especially when you can go to Wal-mart and get something similar for A LOT cheaper....

Anyway, nothing else really new.....
